The ASIDE Membership Committee supports member engagement, professional connection, and meaningful participation across ASIDE programs, committees, journals, and volunteer activities.
Our mission is to create a welcoming and organized membership environment where students, trainees, healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, and volunteers can connect with ASIDE, explore opportunities, contribute to projects, and grow within a professional healthcare community.
The committee helps members feel supported, informed, and involved by improving communication, guiding new members, encouraging participation, and strengthening the overall ASIDE membership experience.

We welcome students, trainees, healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, and volunteers who are interested in helping ASIDE grow an active, connected, and supportive membership community.
Members may contribute based on their background, interests, experience, and availability. Opportunities may include welcoming new members, helping with member onboarding, supporting communication with members, guiding members to committees and volunteer opportunities, encouraging participation in ASIDE activities, and helping recognize member contributions.
No prior committee experience is required. Members who enjoy communication, organization, outreach, teamwork, and community building are encouraged to join.
