The ASIDE Research Committee supports high-quality, ethical, and collaborative research activities for students, trainees, healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, and volunteers.
Our mission is to create a supportive research environment where members can develop research skills, participate in scholarly projects, contribute to publications, and advance knowledge in healthcare, health equity, clinical practice, public health, and medical education.
The committee aims to help members move from research ideas to completed projects by providing guidance, mentorship, teamwork opportunities, and practical support throughout the research process.
The committee aims to promote collaborative, ethical, and impactful research that supports ASIDE members in developing scholarly skills and contributing to the advancement of healthcare knowledge.
Our goals include developing research projects, supporting literature reviews and data-based studies, mentoring members in scientific writing, preparing abstracts and manuscripts, encouraging responsible authorship and research integrity, and helping members build the skills needed for academic, clinical, and professional growth.
